An important day for the Galicians, who will see how several of the covid restrictions in Galicia are finally eased . When almost a month will be fulfilled since the maximum alert was declared, the president of the Xunta has just announced the new measures.
Broadly speaking, the hotel business will be able to reopen in almost all of Galicia, meetings of up to four non-cohabitants will also be allowed in most of the community and a good part of the perimeter closures will disappear from next Friday, February 26.
The president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, explained that the opening will be “gradual” and appealed on several occasions to “individual responsibility.” He also remarked that the restrictions set a month ago were effective: “The evolution is being good.
It leads us to two conclusions: that the restrictions and measures worked without palliative and that we must act with agility when the situation begins to worsen,” he said.
