Galicia Reopens The Hospitality Industry By Allowing Non Cohabiting Meetings

The president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, explained that the opening will be “gradual” and appealed on several occasions to “individual responsibility.” He also remarked that the restrictions set a month ago were effective: “The evolution is being good.

To the relaxation of the restrictions announced last week, the following will be added from next Friday, February 26:

+ Municipalities in the first level of restrictions:

They are those with more than 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 14 days. Aranga, Cabanas, Carballo, Catoira, Corcubión, O Corgo, Gomesende, A Gudiña, Guitiriz, Larouco, Malpica de Bergantiños, Moeche, A Peroxa, Ponteceso, A Pontenova, Toques e Xunqueira de Espadanedo. The restrictions remain as before. That is, closed hotels, meetings between non-cohabitants and perimeter closure of the councils are not allowed.

+ Municipalities in the second level of restrictions:

They are those with between 250 and 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 14 days. All those in the health area of ​​A Coruña, Ferrol and Pontevedra. The terraces in the hospitality industry are open until 6:00 p.m. and with a capacity of 50%. Mobility between councils with the same incidence is allowed .

+ Municipalities in the third level of restrictions:
